Warranty & Returns
Five years on workmanship, three on finish, and a phone number that a human answers.
Last updated: January 12, 2026 · Effective: January 12, 2026
Everything we build is covered by a written workmanship warranty. This page is the whole of it — there is no separate document with the exclusions hidden in it.
1. What is covered, and for how long
- Workmanship and joinery — 5 years. Joints that open, panels that split at a joint, face frames that separate, doors and drawers that will not stay adjusted.
- Installation — 5 years. Cabinets that loosen from the wall, scribes that pull away, out-of-plumb setting caused by our installation.
- Finish — 3 years. Peeling, flaking, blistering or delamination of a finish we applied in our booth, under normal indoor conditions.
- Hardware — per manufacturer. Blum hinges and runners carry a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer; we handle the claim on your behalf for the first five years.
2. What is not covered
- Natural characteristics of wood: colour change from sunlight, seasonal movement, and grain variation.
- Damage from water leaks, flooding, steam, humidity outside 35–55% RH, or extreme temperature swings.
- Impact damage, scratches, abrasion, misuse, overloading of shelves or drawers, and normal wear.
- Work altered, refinished, relocated or repaired by anyone other than us.
- Materials or components supplied by you or by another party.
- Commercial installations in high-traffic public areas are covered for 2 years rather than 5.
3. Making a claim
Call the shop on 806-873-7390 or email back-up@xxienanpur.anpur.org.br with your project address, the approximate installation date and a photograph of the issue. We acknowledge every claim within two business days, inspect within fourteen days where an inspection is needed, and repair or replace the affected component at our discretion and at no cost to you where the claim is valid.
4. The first ninety days
Wood settles into a house. We schedule one return visit within ten business days of completion for punch-list items, and a second courtesy adjustment within the first ninety days at no charge — typically to re-align doors after the first heating season begins.
5. Returns
Custom millwork is manufactured to your specification and cannot be resold, so it is not returnable. If a delivered component does not match the drawings you approved, we will remake it at our cost. Any stock item we resell to you unopened — hardware, for example — may be returned within 30 days for a refund less a 15% restocking fee.
6. Transferability
The warranty covers the original client at the original address. If you sell the property within the warranty period, the remaining balance transfers once to the new owner at no charge; email us with the closing date and we will reissue the certificate.
7. Caring for the work
- Wipe spills promptly with a soft damp cloth; dry immediately afterwards.
- Avoid ammonia, bleach, silicone polishes and abrasive pads on finished surfaces.
- Keep indoor humidity between 35% and 55% year round — the single most useful thing you can do.
- Do not hang wet towels over cabinet doors or run a dishwasher with the door open next to a face frame.
- Re-tighten hinge screws once a year; a care sheet with the exact adjustment method ships with every job.
